Back in April, we beginning reported on the French drone maker. Parrot being up to something. Well, tomorrow will be the day of the official announcement. In a tweet earlier today, Parrot is talking about ‘It’s coming’ and your existence taking ‘a new flight’. They also refer to tomorrow’s event as ‘the big announcement. ’ DroneDJ will be reporting live from the effect come what may that is scheduled to take place in New York at 10 am EST. The big question Of course, the big question is, what will Parrot reveal tomorrow. In their latest tweet, the retinue provides a little bit more information. Drone back in 2010, that was introduced in Las Vegas. Later on, the French drone maker launched a type 2. In November 2015, Parrot showed off the Parrot Bepop 2 in San Francisco. A year later, the French drone maker launched the Parrot Disco FPV, a persistent-wing drone. And last year, the company introduced the Bebop 2 Power and the Mambo FPV race mini-drone, as healthy as the Parrot Bluegrass aimed at the agricultural market, which we reported on recently when Pix4Dcapture was introduced. Parrot releases drones for firefighters and farmers - TechCrunch
is continuing its drive into the commercial drone space with two new drones. The Bebop-Pro Thermo and Bluegrass are aimed at specific targets namely firefighters and farmers. Both connect Parrot’s Professional range of drones that include the Disco-Pro AG and Bebop-Pro 3D Modeling. At this point, if there’s an industry that could use a drone, Parrot seems to be erection one for it. . The Bebop-Pro Thermo is based on an updated version of the Bebop drone. Along with a 14MP camera, the drone is equipped with a Flir One Pro thermal imaging camera that Parrot says can be adapted to in construction and rescue services. The drone can fly for 25 minutes and the retail package includes 3 batteries, a Skycontroller 2 controller and a backpack for $1400. This drone will be close by in November. The Parrot Bluegrass is an all-new drone design from Parrot and can cover 30 hectares at 70 m / 230 ft. flight altitude per battery. The Bluegrass is equipped with an HD camera and a extra sensor developed by Parrot that can provide an overview and detect problem areas in all types of crop fields. Called the Parrot Sequoia, this is a multispectral sensor specifically developed for crops and can privately images of crops in four distinct spectral bands. Parrot says the user sets the boundaries of the fields and selects the types of crops and the drone and software does the take it easy — though it can also be piloted manually. When the Bluegrass hits stores in November, the drone will be available for $5,000, which includes access for one year to the aforementioned software. Parrot is incontestably trying to tune its drones for use other than just casual aerial photography. Bebop 2 Vs Mavic (Air, Pro, and Platinum) - 3D Insider
The Bebop 2 is Parrot’s intense mini-drone, but how does it compare to DJI’s Mavic range . We will compare these aircraft across a range of categories to determine which is first. Their cameras, flight capabilities, and other features will be analysed. We will then award points for each section so that you can determine the strengths and weaknesses of each archetype. Once that’s done, we will let you know the best drone to get, depending on your budget and requirements. Flight Time A drone’s ability to running backstay airborne depends on its battery life. The weather conditions can also have a significant impact on flight time. We have listed the maximum durations each ideal can stay in the sky before their battery is depleted. Unfortunately, the Bebop 2 does not incorporate any form of obstacle avoidance technology. Controller Ease Of Use The Mavic drones all have hugely similar controllers. They are small and portable while having two control sticks and an array of buttons for flight and camera options. This is inexorable to operate intelligent flight modes using the DJI App (more about his soon).
